What if your community organisation could be financially independent?

What if you could focus on your core client services?

What if you could get access to world best practice systems to support you?

What if summit 2012
is the first annual summit for social enterprises, not for profit and charities providing services to Tasmanians. Our vision is to transform Tasmania into a powerhouse of creativity by the end of this decade. To do this we must address the dependence of community organisations on government funding and implement new financial models.

It is unlike any event that you have ever been to before. It is a place where you can dare to dream of a new future for your organisation and the sector.

Instead of picking apart these dreams we will work together to see what we would need to do, to make them happen. On hand will be experts in law, finance, banking, accounting, communication, appreciative inquiry, social media, business process execution and business coaching whose job is to find a way to say ‘yes’ to the best ideas! Also present will be organisations that have already started down this path who will share their experience.

The Symphony of the Future

Prelude

To play the Symphony of the Future together we must first learn a common language. We can then have conversations that matter, those that lead to focus, clarity and action.

The 1st movement - discovery

Discover and share the stories of what already works, what inspires, what we do well.

The 2nd movement - dream

Dreams and visions for the future emerge

The 3rd movement - design

The dreams and visions are transformed into high level strategies that will be developed through the year.
